Terms of Use

Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you and AeonAnima ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing, viewing, or using the AeonAnima platform, services, website, and mobile application (collectively, the "App"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old or the minimum age of digital majority in your jurisdiction to use AeonAnima. By using the App, you represent that you meet these age requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Service Description

AeonAnima provides a personality profiling and matching platform that allows users to:

• Complete questionnaires designed to assess personality traits and preferences
• Receive AI-generated insights and personality analyses based on their responses
• Connect and match with other users based on compatibility algorithms
• Maintain personal journals and reflection entries
• Access educational and self-improvement resources

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire App at any time with or without notice.

3. User Account Responsibilities

• Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and agree to use a strong, unique password.
• Account Activity: You are responsible for all activities conducted under your account and agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
• Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and maintain its accuracy.
• Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time through in-app settings or by contacting legal@aeonanima.com.

4. User-Generated Content

• Ownership: You retain full ownership of all content you submit to AeonAnima.
• License Grant: You grant AeonAnima a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and analyze your content for operating the App and providing services.
• Rights & Permissions: You warrant that you own or have the legal right to all content you upload and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
• Prohibited Content: Your content must not be illegal, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or harassing.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Engage in any illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activities
• Harass, bully, threaten, or defame other users or the Company
• Post hate speech, discriminatory content, or material promoting violence
• Attempt to access, reverse engineer, or decompile the App or its underlying technology
• Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the App or its servers
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the App
• Violate any applicable laws or rights of third parties

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All software, algorithms, designs, code, trademarks, and logos of AeonAnima are owned exclusively by the Company or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or resell any Company intellectual property.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the greater of: (a) $100 USD or (b) the total amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct. Upon termination, your rights to use the App cease immediately.

11. Governing Law & Arbitration

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Binding Arbitration: Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis. You waive any right to jury trial or class action lawsuits.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of arbitration by emailing legal@aeonanima.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
